The papers collected in this book are the result of a larger international cooperation with scholars and researchers in fields of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences on a topics of high interest for the present academic world-wide community. Taking into account the opportunities but no less the threats that come to the fore, in the context of our turbulent contemporary world, the contributors have elaborated significant approaches aiming to identify part of the real problems humanity has to deal with and, also, to decipher viable solutions in the endeavor of overcoming them. Our creed is to offer the readers some paths to better understanding and to cope with not at all encouraging circumstances; especially, seeing the deep moral crisis humanity has to face with. Considering our status of educators (first and foremost) and no less that of researchers in particularly sensitive areas of activity, we believe that it is necessary to responsibly intervene in making a change, at least, of part of the troubles we get to grips with; thinking about them and acting through an effective involvement into a needed effort of building, protecting and developing a healthy and safe world for young and future generations.
